Workshop and concert: IMPROVISATION = COMPOSITION - Camilo Ángeles and Conserere
17 May 2026
On Sunday, May 17, OPOS will host “Improvisation = Composition”, a day dedicated to the practice of improvisation through research, sharing, and performance. The program is divided into two parts: an afternoon workshop from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (with a break), followed by an evening concert at 9:00 PM featuring two sets, with performances by Camilo Ángeles and the Conserere Ensemble.
The event offers an immersion into creative processes that connect improvisation and composition, understood not as separate fields but as complementary practices in the development of a personal musical language. The workshop will be an open space for collective exploration, aimed at musicians interested in deepening listening skills, interaction, and the real-time development of sonic material.
The evening will continue with a two-set concert that translates into performance the tensions and possibilities that emerged during the afternoon, moving through free, layered, and constantly evolving sonic territories.
The workshop is organized and run by Conserere Lab.
