Urban Walks: three events in the Certosa neighborhood, curated by Atlante Periferico

11 and 18 April 2026

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, taking place from April 20 to 26, OPOS opens its doors to a series of talks and urban walks curated by Atlante Periferico, with the aim of exploring the role of design in processes of urban and social transformation.

The program unfolds through three collective tours in the Certosa district—the first of which was held on February 14—accompanied by moments of public discussion and participatory reflection. A project that takes shape from within a historic house of design, seeking to question the present and future of urban peripheries.

At the core of the events lies a key question: how do design, social innovation, and urban regeneration intersect? And what does it mean, in practice, to translate these concepts into concrete actions within neighborhoods undergoing transformation?

The answer lies in observing and directly engaging with those who live in, inhabit, and activate these places every day, contributing to the creation of new communities and local economies. An exploration of possible synergies and the relationships that emerge between people, spaces, and practices.

Atlante Periferico proposes an original approach: not simply a map, but a multidimensional platform capable of connecting territories, communities, and projects—fostering encounters and enabling new collaborations to emerge.
