OPOS brings NONno to the city, from Certosa to the centre of Milan - Milan Design Week 2025
7 - 13 April 2025
NONno is an experimental shop whose products are dispensed via vending machines. The pilot project will be launched in 2021 in Milan, at 205 Via Varesina, in the Certosa district, an area of the city undergoing rapid transformation.
NONno is an OPOS project and represents an original experiment to meet the challenge of ethical, conscious and sustainable consumption. Inside the vending machine, a curated assortment of small design objects to be used in everyday life and quality clothing, at an affordable price, is offered to reach an increasingly broad public.
During the Milan Design Week 2025, the vending machines will multiply and will be present in two strategic points of the city, as well as important destinations for the design crowd: one will be located from 7 April to 7 May at BASE Milano on the ground floor, at the entrance to the large exhibition of schools and young designers (via Bergognone 34), while two others will be in Fabbrica del Vapore (via Procaccini 4) on the ground floor of the Cisterne building with an ad hoc set-up for the entire duration of the Salone week.
For this occasion NONno is preparing a special selection, supplementing the sorting with new intelligent and sustainable design objects, some of which were presented during the single-theme design exhibitions that have marked the history of OPOS. But above all, cashmere accessories, such as scarves and waistcoats, by NONno, are available at the best possible price-quality ratio in relation to production costs and the quality of raw materials.
With this project, OPOS provocatively seeks to overturn the rules of design and re-proposes them at the Fuorisalone to launch a clear and disruptive message that is practicable for everyone: consume less, consume better, through products that save space and time.
