Concert: ONIRIA - Physalia

17 October 2025

“The images that appear in my dreams have a vibrant power that imprints itself in my memory in a vivid way. These visions are the places I feel I come from, they are my inner landscapes, the ones where my roots sink deep.” — Physalia

On October 17th, OPOS opens its doors to a special event: an evening in which Physalia will present Oniria, her debut album released by Okum Produzioni, the Turin-based label founded by Manuel Volpe of the Rhabdomantic Orchestra, which has already brought to light outstanding artists such as Massimo Silverio and Fabio Mina.

Oniria is a musical journey through the realm of dreams and the subconscious, where vivid dreams and inner visions take shape through a personal, cinematic sound, as if in a musical directed by David Lynch.

Physalia’s musical language is rooted in a minimal yet evocative framework: an old upright piano, prepared percussion, objects, and synthesizers. Her voice, intense and multifaceted, conjures sonic landscapes suspended between songwriting, chamber pop, contemporary music, and experimentation, with echoes of Fiona Apple, Björk, and P.J. Harvey. She will be accompanied in the performance by professional drummer Nicholas Remondino.

Songs like Astral Hurricanes, Vertical Eye, and Devoured By The Sun define a hypnotic, layered poetics that captures and transports the listener into a state of lucid dreaming. A debut that is mature, authentic, and deeply evocative.
