Concert: KHTHONIE - Dalila Kayros

10 APRIL 2026

On April 10, 2026, OPOS hosts a concert by Dalila Kayros, an artist who stands out in the contemporary scene for her sonic research that expands the limits of vocality, exploring timbre, range, and expression in a continuous redefinition of the possibilities of the voice.
On this occasion she will present her latest album, KHTHONIE, released in 2025 and described by Rockerilla as “the voice of the abyss.” The work embodies the opposing forces of the earth—creation and destruction—and tells of life emerging from the underground. The texts, suspended between Sardinian and Italian, intertwine with a refined timbral exploration of phonemes. In KHTHONIE the voice is nomadic: it crosses, searches, becomes cry, breath, babble, and word, transforming into the vehicle of a thought charged with emotion. A vocality that does not necessarily pursue pleasantness, but the expressive urgency of the present.

Dalila Kayros performs in duo with electronic musician Danilo Casti, in a visceral and hypnotic performance where ritual voice merges with monolithic, distorted electronic rhythms. Unsettling melodies and rough, earthy tones alternate with ethereal textures. The live set moves through and beyond genre boundaries, imagining a shared space where difference becomes resonance.
