Concert: Chiara Di Muzio, pianist, contemporary music repertoire

On Thursday, January 9, Chiara Di Muzio’s concert was held at OPOS. During the evening, the musician decided to pay tribute to female creativity, which is why she brought a refined selection of pieces by contemporary composers Beatrice Campodonico, Ada Gentile, Teresita Carreño-Tagliapietra, and Amy Beach.

Chiara Di Muzio graduated in piano in 2001 under the guidance of Maestro Marshev with top marks at the Cantelli Conservatory in Novara. In 2003, she began to devote herself assiduously to chamber music, collaborating with various ensembles. She participated in the two-year chamber music course held by the Trio di Parma at the Scuola Superiore Internazionale di Musica da Camera del Trio di Trieste in Duino and won several prizes in chamber music competitions. He has played for important musical institutions, including the “Serate musicali” in Milan, the “Donizetti Festival” in Bergamo, the “Società del Quartetto” in Busto Arsizio, and the SIMC Italian Society of Contemporary Music. In 2016, she graduated with honors with a Level II academic diploma in chamber music from the Boito Conservatory in Parma. In 2019, she founded the Trio Gynaika in collaboration with Maestro Carissimi and Maestro Bellantone and devoted herself to the repertoire of contemporary music.
