Exhibition: ARCHITECTURE IN MOTION - Studio Stalker, curated by Luca Molinari

21 May - 7 June 1998

The exhibition, organised at the venue at Corso Garibaldi 104,  is basically developed around the concept of the “path”, the journey, more than the result, is at the basis of the architectural approach by Roman architectural firm Stalker that claims ”Our projects are carried out through a cognitive and experiential path that we follow with a curious and playful attitude, we first start by dynamic acts to break the spatial and time boundaries of contemporary landscapes to eventually reach cross-cutting architectures that are set on the edges or open up to otherwise unknown processes and relations.”

To shape this method OPOS becomes a landscape to be crossed. Stalker fill the gallery rooms with thousands of crumpled papers, it is 5 different pages that together make the exhibit catalogue and are multiplied up to 15,000 units. Texts, maps and design evidences are on display to dive in and be discovered.

“The exhibit itself becomes a journey among memories, a territory of fragments that can be recovered by visitors that accept to walk in a playful and discovery mood”. This chaotic, dynamic and unstable rooms are changed by those who enter them, by subjective and random trajectories”. Everyone can hold a physical fragment of the exhibit and take it away.

The event was held in the OPOS Gallery Corso Garibaldi 104.
